Friends —
St. Louis City needs a municipal identification program. The creation of such a program would ease accessibility to city services for thousands of residents.
Too often, those without access to identification are disproportionately people of color, immigrants and refugees, the unhoused, members of the LGTBQI+ community, and other groups who have historically been overlooked.
From the Missouri House of Representatives to the St. Louis City Treasurer’s Office, I have always sought effective and modernized approaches to meet the challenges of the moment. As Mayor, implementing a new municipal identification program will be one of my top priorities.
But I can’t get there alone. Election Day is just around the corner -- April 6. Can you chip in $10 right now to help push us over the finish line in the last couple weeks?
