President Biden’s support for filibuster reform marks a big shift as
Senate Democrats consider what to do with the filibuster, knowing that the
rule spells disaster for any major bill brought before the Senate.

For the last two years, countless bills that were passed by the Democratic
majority in the House piled up in Mitch McConnell’s legislative graveyard
and unless Senate Democrats remove this very powerful tool from
McConnell’s grip, we can expect many more bills to end up with the same
fate.
