A New Report on the State of the Children’s Savings Field

The Children’s Savings team at Prosperity Now [[link removed]] just released a new report, Sustaining the Movement: The State of Children’s Savings Field 2020. This fifth annual report provides a snapshot of the Children’s Savings Account (CSA) field in 2020, discusses trends in CSA program models and provides new information about the impact of COVID-19 on the field. The key finding for 2020 is that, despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic, the CSA field continued to grow and existing programs kept enrolling new children with total enrollment increasing 30% from 2019. Thank you to all the CSA program staff members who responded to the 2020 CSA program survey on which the report is based.
