National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week March 22-28, 2021

National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week

Empower Youth in 2021: Join Us for National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week

When it comes to empowering teens and young adults to make informed decisions about their health, your efforts are more critical than ever. National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® (NDAFW), coordinated by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, is a week-long health observance highlighting the science-based facts about how drugs and alcohol affect the brain and body.

While NDAFW may look different this year, NIDA has ideas and resources to support your virtual or socially distanced activities.
D.A.R.E. encourages educators, law enforcement, families, prevention orgs., and health care professionals to plan educational activities for youth in your community in recognition of NDAFW. It's easy to get involved!
Register your event online to join the national conversation and network of event planners supporting youth during the week of March 22‒28, 2021.
