It’s always been wrong to discriminate against LGBTQ people. I know that, and you know that.

But the GOP doesn't agree.

Just a few weeks ago, Democrats in Congress passed legislation which would prohibits discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation, and more to ensure that every person has an equal opportunity to succeed in America. This week, the Senate heard moving testimony on the legislation -- a first step towards passing it.

Instead of standing up and supporting equality, Republicans across the country are working to pass restrictive laws that would strip protections and rights away from LGBTQ Americans.

I'm fighting back because our rights are on the line, and we can't afford to take anything for granted. Chip in today to help me in that fight.
