I'm emailing you because you joined our meeting in January after our seditionist Congressman voted to overturn the election. Jay Obernolte sent out a 1-day notice for a telephone Town Hall TODAY Thursday March 18 at 5:00 PM PT. Jay has a lot to answer for and we need your help.

Below is information to help you prepare your questions ahead of time. Here is Obernolte's dismal voting record to date:
* AGAINST HR 1319 - American Rescue Plan Act that is bringing immediate financial relief to Americans suffering financial losses from the pandemic, reducing child poverty by 50%, and supporting small businesses with much needed grants to keep businesses solvent.
* AGAINST HR Res 72 to remove Q-Anon follower Marjorie Taylor Green from her committee assignments even when 11 other Republicans voted to ([link removed]) have her removed ([link removed]) .
* AGAINST HR1 - For the People Act ([link removed]) to expand voting rights, change campaign finance laws to reduce the influence of money in politics, limit partisan gerrymandering, and create new ethics rules for federal officeholders
* AGAINST HR5 - Equality Act ([link removed]) to give LGBTQ+ citizens the same protections against discrimination that we all expect.
* AGAINST HR 1280 - George Floyd Justice In Policing Act ([link removed]) to to hold police accountable, change the culture of law enforcement, empower our communities, and build trust between law enforcement and our communities by addressing systemic racism and bias to help save lives.
* AGAINST HR 803 - Colorado Wilderness Act ([link removed]) , a bipartisan plan with provisions protecting landscapes in Arizona, California, Colorado and Washington spanning 2.7 million acres and more than 1,000 miles of Wild and Scenic rivers.
