While I was out door-knocking yesterday with teams of volunteers, we stumbled across the first piece of attack literature distorting my record. I am just getting a moment now to sit down and write you about it. It is sad that our opponent and her extreme special interest groups are already getting this desperate, but we knew it would happen. Planned Parenthood, who has endorsed Mayor Joyce Craig, took to the streets of Manchester all weekend to benefit Joyce's flailing campaign after our strong performance in the primary. They were spreading their incredibly partisan agenda all over the city. No hit was too low. They even said that I, a wife and mother of two young boys, have "a record of standing against women and families" simply because I am pro-life. How absurd. I am tough. The far-left has attacked me before and I know they will do it again. However, hits like this have an impact on elections.
