After two huge Senate losses, Republicans in Georgia are retaliating with a massive voter suppression bill. It combines nearly every crooked tactic in the book -- voter ID requirements, vote-by-mail restrictions, and attacks on voter registration access.
Their goal? Disenfranchise Democrats -- especially voters of color. Stacey Abrams is calling this “a redux of Jim Crow in a suit and tie."
John, there are consequences when we allow Republicans to dominate state-level elections. And now that Democrats hold the trifecta, the GOP is plotting to replicate this blueprint in other key swing states -- Texas, North Carolina, and Arizona.
