Look, I know you’re getting a lot of emails, and I promise we are almost done sending them.

But tonight is our big FEC filing deadline -- the most important deadline I have faced in my re-election campaign so far. These numbers are public, and everyone will be watching to see if I have what it takes to win this race. I want them to know that I do. 

I’m in this because I have more work to do for Utahns in Congress.  We still need to bring down the cost of prescription drugs and health care in this country. We still need to address the growing threat of climate change. And we still need to root out the corruption that has made Washington stop working for our families.

In order to do all these things and more, I need to win in one of the toughest districts in the country, and that means hitting my campaign fundraising goals, starting with tonight’s public deadline.

Honestly, it’s really important that this is our strongest fundraising report yet. Can you please chip in whatever you can so we don’t fall short of our goal?
