In most years, our Overnight participants would begin actively training inMarch and getting ready to walk 16+ miles from dusk to dawn to raise funds andawareness for suicide prevention as part of our annual Out of the DarknessOvernight Walk in June. This year, we’ve launched The Overnight VirtualExperience, a physically safe version of our flagship event (with nofundraising requirement this year!) that invites people to join our Overnightfamily by participating in different activities of their choice, such aswalking, running, journaling, reading, yoga, and more.
There has never been a better or easier time to get involved in mental healthand suicide prevention. The Overnight will culminate with a moving, meaningfulprogram on June 26 to recognize our participants across the nation and world,as well as support and honor those affected by suicide. But now is the time toget involved!
That’s why this year, we’ve introduced the Active Impact™ tracking tool tohelp you take action, while fundraising, with the support of the rest of TheOvernight community.
From now until May 28, you can use Active Impact™ to track your virtualfundraising experience by logging your activity, editing your personal and/orteam goals, and motivating yourself and your followers to raise funds andmomentum for this year’s Overnight Experience. You will have your Walker Coachwith you every step of the way for guidance and support.
Join us in taking a total of 20 hours and 21 minutes of #OvernightAction inhonor of our loved ones and ourselves this Overnight season.
