Team Information
An exciting opportunity to join a large Occupational Therapy team within Adult Social Care.
??
The team provides a variety of services including Early Intervention, Re-ablement, Rapid Response and Disability Housing Advisers; as well as its mainstream function. The team focus is on promoting independence and well-being, through prevention, re-ablement and early resolution.? We use a strength- based approach and put the person at the centre of all interventions.? The Team is staffed by Occupational Therapists; graded at 3 levels, as well as Community Care Officers.

There is an expectation that Occupational Therapists at all levels within the service will ensure the delivery of appropriate services to adults and their families /carers.? This will include assessing the needs of vulnerable adults and their carers; establishing what is important to them and agreeing outcomes based on a personalised, sensitive and proportionate approach.?? Also creating and implementing culturally appropriate care plans that demonstrate flexibility and innovative use of resources.

Work is undertaken within the current legislative framework at all times, and in partnership with internal and external partners/agencies. There is also an expectation that Occupational Therapists at all levels will maintain and produce professional case records and reports which are structured, clear, evidence based and logical, in accordance with the Department?s case recording standards and practice. In addition, they should make best use of the Department?s electronic information systems, inputting new information as required in a timely and accurate manner.

Occupational Therapists at Level 2 are also expected to develop more complex person centred packages of support; this may include rehabilitation / reablement, provision of equipment and structural adaptations. They will carry a full caseload, including multifaceted cases and complex manual handling assessments, and will work with minimal supervision.

Occupational Therapists at Level 3 are further expected to provide reports to safeguarding strategy meetings or review meetings as required, as well as managing multifaceted cases (including those requiring complicated equipment and major structural adaptations that keep people and their carers safe).? At this level, there is a need to have substantial moving and handling experience and the need to support less experienced colleagues.?

As a Chef Supervisor you will be responsible for the day to day running of the school kitchen and will provide general supervision of the preparation, cooking and serving of school meals.

The starting salary is 19,698 (Level one) rising to ?20,493 (Level two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).
3 x FTE Play & Youth Worker, Youth Justice Service, Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) Fixed Term up to 12 months.

The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) have awarded Nottingham City Youth Justice Service additional funding for a Detached Youth Work team. These temporary posts will work alongside Nottingham City Play & Youth Service to provide detached youth work across the city. The team members will need to have the ability to engage with a wide range of children and young people who may at times include those identified as being at risk of anti-social behaviour and/ or vulnerable to youth violence.

There is emphasis on working alongside a multi-disciplinary hub to identify, assess, and deliver programmes to children and young people who are vulnerable to exploitation and crime.
??
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
? Experience of engaging with children and young people with an age range of 5-19 years, particularly those who have who have challenging behaviour such as substance misuse, mental health, anti-social behaviour and crime. Supporting them to learn, achieve and help them to build and develop skills.
? The ability to keep young people and children safe and the experience of providing quality opportunities to meet and respond to the challenging needs of children and young people in our communities.
? Ability to work flexibly across the city, during evenings and weekends to provide quality activities for children and young people in a range of Play and Youth settings.
