John -
When I decided to enter this race, I knew that I wanted to things differently. I didn't want to build our movement at high-dollar fundraisers, where only a handful of people could afford to make their voices heard.
I wanted to be on the ground, talking to working Mainers across the state about the issues that matter.
That's what we've been doing, and let me tell you: it is incredible!
In September, we:
Kicked off the month with four Labor Council events;
Connected with hundreds of people at our 8 town halls (#9 and #10 happening this weekend);
Met with two different Indivisible groups and five Democratic town committees;
Added more than 1,000 signatures to our open letter calling on Susan Collins to begin impeachment proceedings against Brett Kavanaugh;
Raised our voices with thousands of incredible young people at two different climate strike rallies;
Spent three days talking with families and farmers at the Common Ground Country Fair;
Welcomed more than 300 new volunteers to the campaign.
That's what it looks like to connect with Mainers and build a democratic movement, John!
And here's the best part:we're just getting started.
We're going to step things up in the coming months, John, to make sure everyone in Maine knows what we're fighting for.
Will you contribute $3 per month to make sure we get our message to all corners of the state?

See you out there,
