John -- Congresswoman Cori Bush recently brought the fire to Amazon and Jeff Bezos for their unconscionable treatment of employees. 

Workers at the Bessemer, Alabama facility have been organizing to form a union. In response the company has used brutal scare tactics and intimidation to try and stop them. 

Cori Bush was NOT having it. Outraged by these tactics, she joined workers on the picket line to draw attention to the movement. 

Workers in this country desperately need more leaders like Cori Bush in Congress; working people must be represented in congress.

“Jeff Bezos, speaking to you, that person who received 70 billion dollars in 2020 in the midst of a pandemic while so many were dying, so many were sick, while so many couldn’t get up...20 thousand of your folks contracted, were infected by COVID-19, and yet, you stopped hazard pay for the folks that were showing up!” 

This is the power of a representative who has truly lived the experience of working people; someone who knows firsthand what it means to endure exploitation by corporations that treat their employees like widgets, not like human beings.

But despite Amazon’s best efforts, its employees are still casting their votes to unionize -- results that are scheduled to be counted on March 30th.  

It’s moments like these that show us just how important it is to elect working people to Congress.
