Congress heard our calls to protect care and passed the American Rescue Plan last week. The legislation includes funding to support vaccination efforts, rural hospitals, and increased health insurance coverage options. The 64,294 letters from our Coalition helped make this possible.
But our work isn't done yet -- hospitals, health systems, and the quality patient care they provide are still under threat from looming Medicare cuts that are scheduled to resume on April 1.
We must urgently act again to help protect access to care. Email your lawmakers now: Tell them to not allow any cuts to hospitals and health systems during the pandemic >>

Hospitals and health systems have been there for patients every day of the pandemic, through every challenge and every surge. And although they've received support along the way, including from the American Rescue Plan, more is needed to ensure they can continue providing high-quality, affordable care for the remainder of this public health emergency.
We've seen what's possible when we come together to advocate for hospitals and patient care, and we know we can make a difference once again. But with just a few weeks remaining before the budget cuts resume, we need to act fast.
Send a message to your lawmakers now and urge them to eliminate all funding cuts to hospitals and health systems as they care for patients during the pandemic.
