I’ll be frank, John:

When I first introduced the Dream Act in 2001, I had no idea I’d still be fighting to pass it two decades later. But I will stay in this fight as long as it takes -- because Dreamers are Americans in every sense of the word, except one, and it’s long past time for Congress to make that right.

Now, with a Democratic Senate and President Biden’s support, we are closer than ever to a permanent pathway to citizenship for Dreamers. But the GOP has blocked this crucial bill for twenty years now -- and it’s going to take all of us speaking out to get it over the finish line.

The Dream and Promise Act is being voted on in the House this week. This is the time to raise our voices.

John, will you sign the petition right now to show your support for Dreamers?

Not only is passing the Dream Act the right thing to do for Dreamers who were brought to this country as children, it is also in the best interest of our communities and our economy. Getting this done needs to be top priority -- and I’ll be working as hard as I can to finally make it happen.

Can I count on your support as we work to pass these protections for Dreamers?

The time is now, John. Sign the petition to show your support for the Dream Act.
