Rep. Pramila Jayapal and Rep. Debbie Dingell just re-introduced Medicare
for All in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Our momentum is strong, and it’s a testament to the organizing and power
we’ve built together as a movement over the last few years.

More than half of the House Democratic Caucus have co-sponsored the bill,
and we already have a commitment from first-time cosponsor and chairman of
the powerful Energy & Commerce Committee, Rep. Frank Pallone, to hold a
hearing on the bill in his committee.

But we need more members of Congress to join this coalition, which is why
we’re launching a petition with Rep. Jayapal calling on Congress to make
health care a human right and support Medicare for All.

support for Medicare for All across the country. Will you add your name
calling on Congress to support Medicare for All?

For months we’ve been preparing for this moment and organizing in
districts across the country. Through our District Leaders program, we’ve
trained and coached volunteers who have stepped up in over 200
congressional districts to meet with their member of Congress and urge
them to become a cosponsor.

Together we will continue to organize in every district and create a wave
of grassroots power that’s impossible to ignore.

We’ve watched as the pandemic disproportionately affected low-income
communities of color who lacked sufficient health coverage and suffered
from preventable preexisting conditions. We’ve seen millions of people
lose their employer-sponsored health insurance as businesses shuttered
last year.

Enough is enough. Medicare for All is the popular, necessary, and urgent
solution to a broken, for-profit health care system that leaves more than
87 million Americans uninsured or underinsured during a pandemic.

All passed, sign the national petition to Congress now, and we’ll be in
touch with next steps soon.

Thank you for helping us get to this moment.
