Friend,

As we continue to celebrate Women this month, I wanted to highlight the amazing work that women are doing in healthcare, especially during this pandemic. Passing the one year anniversary is a sobering feeling and it is clear that we can see the toll that this pandemic has taken on our communities and our healthcare workers.

We’re highlighting the doctors, nurses, janitors, administrators, and many other women who are working in our hospitals and clinics to make sure that those who have contracted the virus are taken care of.

The hardworking healthcare workers who risked their lives to help the rest of our community stay safe.

To them, we owe a debt of gratitude.

So during Women’s history month we will continue to acknowledge achievement, perseverance, persistence, and most importantly, appreciate the women around us. That means every woman, whether Cis or Trans, Black or White, young or old: this month is yours.

Let’s continue to stand tall together,

-- Yvette
