Hi John,
My name is Najaah Daniels, and I’m the Principal of Public & Political Leadership at re:power. I joined this team because I believe that our government and power structures must include the ideas and perspectives of communities who have been historically marginalized: Black and Indigenous folks, folks of color, queer and trans communities, women, the working class, immigrants and others.
In 2018, I was inspired when I saw leaders from these communities, that looked like me, break into mainstream politics and institutions. It's why I signed on to be a campaign manager for a competitive congressional race in a battleground state.
Our communities are shaking up the political landscape and forcing the current presidential race to include our realities and needs on all fronts.
Are you seeking to be a campaign manager, political organizer, or a staffer for a candidate campaign? Apply TODAY by midnight to our Electoral Campaign Management Training.
At our ECM training, you’ll be part of a cohort who will receive skills, knowledge, and access over two days to start building up a slate of leaders in our democracy. You’ll learn from some of the best in the business, and understand what it means to build with people who share your values.
As a Black Latina, I know what it’s like to be the only one in the room who looks like me, and I’m determined to change that. Apply today by midnight and join me. The deadline is today and spots are filling up fast.
Together, let’s make sure people of color, queer and trans folks, women, the working class, and immigrants are leading this 2020 cycle and beyond.
In solidarity,
Najaah Daniels
