We’re proud to announce our endorsements for the Spring Election!
This slate of endorsements focuses on local candidates in local elections. We’re proud to be working shoulder-to-shoulder in communities across the state to identify and support candidates whose values intersect with your own: clean water, clean air, accessible public lands, an equitable, safe democracy, and the pursuit of clean energy.
See below for a region-by-region list of our endorsements. You can also go to our Elections headquarters at conservationvoters.org/elections for more resources on voting.
The Wisconsin Conservation Voters Board vets candidates through a questionnaire, a personal interview, and research on each prospective candidate and their campaigns. For local races, Wisconsin Conservation Voters forms local committees to conduct this vetting process, which allows for a better understanding of local issues, concerns, and community connections.
I know you just voted in the primary for this election and, of course, just a few months earlier chose a president. This is just as critical. The old cliche about “all politics being local” rings truer than ever here in Wisconsin as the state legislature is dominated by politicians who have abandoned not only their party’s conservation values and heritage, but also accelerated Wisconsin’s heavy toll from COVID and the increasing impacts to our health and environment caused by climate disruption.
These candidates in your communities will lead rather than obstruct. They will help rather than hinder. They will work with you not against you. And they will prioritize issues that align with the ones you care about as a conservation voter and someone who loves Wisconsin.
