John,

Trump’s second impeachment trial ended last month, but his problems are just getting started.

Now prosecutors are considering charges against the former president. The district attorney in Atlanta is currently investigating Trump for trying to overturn the election. And President Biden’s attorney general Merrick Garland said investigations by the Department of Justice will pursue everyone involved in the insurrection.

So we want to go big with a billboard campaign to PROSECUTE Trump! We need to raise $10,000 to kick off our campaign in Atlanta and go live. Will you chip in to make it happen? [[link removed]]

Republicans in Congress would like us to just forget about what happened on January 6th. They don’t want Trump to be prosecuted because they’re complicit in the insurrection too.

But now, Attorney General Merrick Garland is vowing to investigate the insurrection from the rioters on up: “We begin with the people on the ground and we work our way up to those who are involved and further involved, and we will pursue these leads wherever they take us. That’s the job of a prosecution,” Garland said.

But that’s not all. Prosecutors in Georgia, Washington, DC, and New York are investigating or considering investigations into Trump as well. The district attorney of Fulton County Georgia, which covers the Atlanta area, is investigating Trump for pressuring state officials. He infamously called Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger demanding “I just want to find 11,780 votes.” Now prosecutors are considering charges related to conspiracy, racketeering, and involvement in violence related to the election's administration. In the District of Columbia, Trump is subject to charges under local jurisdiction for inciting a riot. A conviction carries a penalty of 6 months in jail.

Republicans want us to just forget what happened. They’ve sunk as low as calling rioters “fake” Trump supporters. Their claims are pathetic, and desperate. That’s because they know they’re complicit too. Investigating and prosecuting Trump means they can be prosecuted as well.

Around the country the pressure is ratcheting up on Trump. Prosecutors are considering charges. Chip in to call for Trump to be charged to the fullest extent of the law by supporting our billboard campaign. If we can raise $10,000 we’ll be able to go live! [[link removed]]

Trump thinks he can get away with what he did. But he MUST be held accountable.
