$3.50 may not seem like a lot of money. But when thousands of people chip in $3.50, we can help provide scholarships to frontline climate organizers leading and participating in the Global Just Recovery Gathering.

Before I share exactly how your $3.50 contribution will support climate leaders across the Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and Asia participate virtually in the gathering — and help build a powerful climate movement — if you can, make a contribution today.

The cost of internet and mobile data can be prohibitively expensive for many people around the globe who are doing the vital work to stop the climate crisis. From artisanal fishermen in the Pacific islands to marginalized communities living in urban areas, we are organizing to ensure the cost of internet or data is not a barrier to participation for the climate movement.

Let me be clear: supporting climate and movement leaders to connect to the Global Just Recovery Gathering is about more than creating an opportunity for individuals to attend and lead workshops, trainings, and panels. Frontline leaders are creating the solutions we need to stop the climate crisis. Hearing and learning from their on-the-ground leadership, experience, and deep-rooted wisdom is the center to building a powerful global climate movement.

Scholarships are a way to offer space, time and resources for frontline communities to continue to grow this leadership. Scholarships can support spaces to come together to participate in COVID-safe watch-parties for the gathering and a stable internet connection with internet credits or installing wi-fi in a community.

In the last year, Pacific activists won a campaign to stop insurers from backing the toxic Adani coal mine while distributing mutual aid as their communities survived increasing cyclones. Brazilian Indigenous leaders, fishermen, and activists protected the Amazon and sacred territories against neo-colonial fossil fuel destruction by BP, Shell and Total by protesting at oil and gas auctions. Our climate movement is growing in every corner of the globe.

That is why we are asking you to make a $3.50 contribution today to help support activists around the globe with scholarships to lead and participate in the Global Just Recovery Gathering:

Can you please make a $3.50 contribution today to help support climate activists and movement leaders around the globe connect to participate virtually in the Global Just Recovery Gathering? We'll put your donation right to work securing data bundles and building a global climate movement.

Even though in many places in the world we cannot bring climate leaders and activists together in closed spaces or support their travel to other locations due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are not letting that stop our movement.

At 350, our aim is to make climate activism as accessible as possible. That means ensuring frontline communities and climate leaders have access to the internet and data they need to attend meetings, trainings and workshops and to build long-lasting power.

Your $3.50 contribution today may not seem like a lot, but it will go a very long way in helping climate activists around the world participate in this historic gathering so we can truly build the global climate movement we need to dismantle the fossil fuel industry:

Please make a $3.50 contribution today to help climate movement leaders in remote areas connect to the internet for this historic event and be a part of the fight for climate justice.
