As a conservative Republican Senator who happens to be a Black man, Tim Scott has A LOT of haters. But thankfully he has no better friend than Trey Gowdy.

Trey went off on Fox News this week after MSNBC host Joy Reid said that Tim Scott was just a “token” to provide a “patina of diversity” to Republicans.

Trey has it right. The fact that Joy Reid thinks a hard-working and respected U.S. Senator is a racial token or prop says more about her than it does Tim.
