John,
Tomorrow is shaping up to be a big day for Convention of States, as we advance in our fight to slam the door on socialism.
South Carolina is scheduled to hold a Subcommittee Hearing on the COS resolution on March 18 at 9:00 a.m. ET.
Mark Meckler is prepping his testimony, and we expect the grassroots to show up in a big way, demonstrating their support before the committee.
You can watch the action LIVE on our YouTube channel. Be sure to save this page and check back tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. ET.
But South Carolina isn’t the only state with growing momentum.
The COS Wyoming team has flooded the airwaves of local radio stations, put up billboards, and held town halls across the state to eager crowds.
Now their hard work is about to pay off. The full Wyoming Senate is preparing to debate and vote on the COS resolution. We’ve been informed that it could happen as soon as tomorrow.
If they vote in favor of the resolution, it will move to the House, giving Wyoming the inside track to becoming the 16th state to pass the Convention of States Action resolution.
In Wisconsin, the Assembly Committee on Constitution and Ethics passed the COS resolution and is also awaiting a vote on the floor.
This is just a small glimpse into the tidal wave of legislative activity happening across the country.
Right now, our legislation is active in 20 states. It is absolutely critical that we take action now.
Will you help us cross the finish line by chipping in $25, $50, or even $100 today? Together we can force Congress to live on a budget, slap term limits on career politicians, and preserve liberty for future generations.
For the Republic,
The Convention of States Team
