John, as the U.S Senate debated sending economic relief to millions of Americans, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville took it upon himself to introduce a hateful amendment attacking trans kids.
We obviously weren’t going to let his bigotry stand, so we tweeted our support for the trans community. And boy – did that make the transphobes mad:

Look, we can deal with the hate mail. We are used to it. But when our out candidates encounter this type of vitriol, it’s our job to defend them and correct the record.
