Ignoring the risks of climate change is not an option, friend.

As we continue to address the challenges of today – including the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic – we also know that we need to meet the tests of the future. Climate change is the most significant long-term threat of our generation, but it is also the biggest economic opportunity.


That’s why Justin Trudeau and our Liberal government are moving forward with a new strengthened Climate Plan for a healthy environment and a healthy economy, which will include 64 new measures and an initial $15 billion in investments to fight climate change, create good new jobs, and help make life more affordable.


Climate change is real – and we must act now.


With your support, we’re making crucial progress to protect a clean environment for our kids and grandkids – including with our work to ban harmful-single use plastics, committing Canada to net-zero emissions by 2050, planting two billion trees over the next 10 years, investing in electric transportation technology, and so much more. But as Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives begin their convention this week, it’s as clear as ever that they would make pollution free again and roll back our progress to fight climate change.
