I am thrilled to write to you today with some amazing news!  Advocates for Youth is proud to announce today that our 1 in 3 Campaign has evolved into a new campaign to end abortion stigma and expand abortion access for young people. Announcing ... Abortion Out Loud! Can you help us launch the campaign?

Abortion Out Loud puts young people front and center, helping them organize, build community power, challenge stigma, and ensure youth can access safe abortion care. We will do this by:

• uplifting the real experiences of young people seeking abortion care in their community,
• highlighting the barriers youth face, and
• fighting for legislation to improve youth access.

Today - on the 43rd anniversary of the Hyde Amendment - we’re asking young people across the country to join us in launching this campaign in your community. Apply here to be an ambassador for abortion access in your community, and we will send you an interactive banner, t-shirts, stickers, and a small book of abortion stories to share. All of this will culminate with a storm of social media content the week of October 21st, featuring videos and photos you take of folks answering the question, “why do you say ‘abortion’ out loud?”

Imagine your impact if you hold an event on campus or in your neighborhood, and help us flood social media feeds with people proudly saying “abortion” out loud. You could reach someone who has felt alone or isolated and show them that you are in this with them. You could help move someone from quietly being pro-choice to becoming a loud advocate for abortion access for young people.
