It's March, but it feels like Groundhog Day in Washington.

Immigration is at the forefront of the national debate as 100,441 migrants were encountered attempting to cross the southern border just last month—a 173% increase since February of last year. Biden’s failed policies and Executive Orders directly account for the rise in illegal crossings at the border.

Remember in 2019 when Nancy Pelosi joked that she'd give a dollar to border security ([link removed]) ? Later that summer, I led a bipartisan trip to the southern border and what I witnessed is similar to what Leader Kevin McCarthy witnessed this week ([link removed]) . ([link removed]) Since I took office, we have been calling for border security and increased funding for border patrol agents.

What we're seeing at our southern border today is a humanitarian crisis being driven by bad Biden policies. In an attempt to satisfy the progressives in the Democrat party who want open borders and to defund ICE, Joe Biden has given thousands false hope who are coming to the border.

More than 1,000 unaccompanied children are now causing facilities to overflow - as our nation attempts to overcome a pandemic. Not a single dollar in the $1,900,000,000 "COVID relief" bill provided funding for our border patrol agents to increase capacity or technology to secure our border.

Biden isn't helping anyone, except for the Mexican Drug Cartels' human trafficking rings.
