John, we have to act fast:
The Hill has reported that “since the 2016 election cycle, 86 percent of the $181.9 million oil and gas industry PACs and employees donated to federal candidates went to Republicans.”
The takeaway? Corporations are funding anti-science candidates to prevent Congress from taking ANY action on the climate crisis. In fact, the number of climate science deniers in Congress went UP this November -- in line with the number of Republicans who voted to overturn the election results.
We need to work collectively to prevent the oncoming climate crisis -- the deadly freeze in Texas was only the beginning. That's why we're demanding Big Business do the right thing and stop funding any Republican that denies science and climate change.
John, we need everyone on deck to pressure these corporations. Public pressure from people like you is the reason so many groups stopped sending donations to the GOP after the Capitol riot. We still need 975 signatures from your area. Please, add your name immediately to protect our planet and cut off the GOP's anti-science agenda in Congress:
