Last week, The Washington Post shared a new report that analyzed all 235 House districts held by Democrats. They considered things like win-margin in 2018, whether Trump won in 2016, and whether the district is a target for the 2020 presidential or Senate battleground races.

 

IA-01 checks all those tabs, which means Abby’s race is one of the eight most important in the country for Democrats.

 

The memo noted that because of presidential and senatorial races, we will need all the money, volunteer time, and attention on our district that we can get in order to hold this seat.

 

Abby has a tough race, and both Cook Political and Sabato’s Crystal Ball are calling our race a "toss-up" -- and if Abby loses re-election in 2020, Democrats could lose the House majority.
