The Right is mobilizing against the Equality Act, and we need you to join us and our allies TODAY as we push back against their campaign to discredit this vital legislation and prevent it from becoming law.
Every day, Senators are being inundated with misinformation about the bill – particularly the old falsehood that it would impinge on religious liberty – with calls, emails, and social media posts from constituents who oppose its passage. And this morning, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold an Equality Act hearing, so we need to ramp up our activism and start preparing for a vote.

The Equality Act is a landmark bill that would affirm that LGBTQ+ people nationwide have the same federal anti-discrimination protections that currently cover people based on their race, color, national origin, sex, disability, and religion.
After extreme far-right members of Congress like Marjorie Taylor Greene attacked and denigrated but failed to stop the Equality Act from passing in the House, certain senators – including Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Josh Hawley – have continued with this hateful rhetoric as the bill moves forward. We need to show them and every senator that Americans enthusiastically support the Equality Act and that we demand equality now!
