=TOBACCO & RELATED PRODUCTS CONSULTATION=
------------------------------------------------------------

The Government is reviewing the effectiveness of tobacco and related products legislation introduced in 2015 and 2016, by which they mean:
* Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016
* Standardised Packaging of Tobacco Products Regulations 2015

The consultation, which closes this week (Friday 19th March), includes questions about the impact of regulations on text and picture warnings, characterising flavours, pack sizes and the appearance of cigarettes (including plain packaging).

There are also questions about e-cigarettes and novel tobacco products. Therefore, whether you smoke or vape, we strongly encourage you to submit a response because the outcome of the consultation could influence further regulations on tobacco and related products.

For further information click here ([link removed]) or go direct to the online consultation ([link removed]) on the Government website. Thank you!

-"Make your voice heard"-

"It shouldn't take you long to complete the online consultation but it's important you make your voice heard because the responses could influence the Government's new Tobacco Control Plan which is due to be published in the summer."

"Really important to get involved"

"No matter what your position as a smoker or a vaper, I think it's really important to get involved in this consultation."

Mark Oates, director, We Vape and the Snus & Nicotine Pouch Users' Association, speaking during the Forest webinar, 'Smokefree: A Better Britain?', last week.
