The Biden administration is scrambling to find more government buildings for the children.
"Obviously we're going to have more kids," White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a briefing, noting that the influx is because Biden is "letting unaccompanied minors stay, and the last administration immorally kicked them out."
"So, of course, we have to look for facilities and places where we can safely and humanely have these unaccompanied minors in the interim."

** CARES Act vs. American Rescue Plan
------------------------------------------------------------
Last week, Biden signed ([link removed]) Democrats’ $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 ([link removed]) into law.
This is the second-largest spending bill ever enacted, only surpassed by the $2.2 trillion Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act ([link removed]) , which became law in March 2020.
Here, with the aid of USAFacts ([link removed]) , we compare the two bills.
For instance: The CARES Act became law early in the pandemic when businesses were being shuttered and millions of Americans were losing their jobs, so it focused its relief on helping mitigate the economic impact which this USAFacts chart ([link removed]) breaks down:

** Meet the New SBA Admin
------------------------------------------------------------
The Senate voted 81-17 to confirm Isabel Guzman as Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA).

Guzman is the director of California’s Office of the Small Business Advocate within the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and has served in that role since April 2019.
During her confirmation hearing, senators raised contentious issues such as the impact of a federally-imposed, $15 per hour minimum wage on small businesses, and whether Planned Parenthood qualifies for forgivable Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans intended for small businesses despite having more than 500 employees.
Guzman said she would review the PPP loan eligibility criteria, but would not offer an opinion on the minimum wage and said she would review research from both sides.
