Hello Neighbor,
When I first ran for Mayor I made a commitment to make education one of my top priorities.
Education remains one of my top priorities because the city will only prosper with the success of our educational institutions.
Since first elected, we have been able to launch initiatives like the Education Commission, bringing together educators, superintendents, and students.
We also established the Youth Council giving young people a voice and platform to help decide their future no matter where they are from in Aurora.
In the next 4 years, I know together we can continue to invest in Aurora's youth because young people are our future and our youth make us stronger.
Sincerely,
Richard C. Irvin
