We're giving local groups 51-star flags to serve as a tangible symbol for a key piece of our democracy reform agenda Indivisibles,
In less than two weeks, the House and Senate will be in recess and in their home districts. With the American Rescue Plan signed into law, this is a crucial time for local activists to build pressure on their members of Congress (MoCs) on our big priorities like democracy reform and inclusive recovery. And we’re deep in preparation mode to make sure activists like you have all the resources you need to do it.
One of the most popular things we’re providing for groups is 51-star flags to serve as a tangible symbol for a key piece of our democracy reform agenda -- D.C. statehood.
We want to make sure that every group that wants one can get a 51-star flag to use in their activism, but at $40.50 each to custom-order them from a union manufacturer, the costs add up, and demand is way higher than we anticipated. Between the flags, other props, trainings, resources, radio and online ads, and more, we’re spending tens of thousands of dollars to support mobilizations nationwide during this month’s congressional recess.
To fund our work while staying accountable to the people we’re fighting for, we turn to the grassroots (that’s you!) for support. Click here to donate $10 today to help us send groups 51-star flags, fight for D.C. statehood and democracy reform, and accomplish everything else we’ve set our sights on.

Getting the American Rescue Plan passed was our movement’s first big victory in 2021, and it showed just how much progressives can accomplish when we fight hard and stick to our principles. Now, it’s time to turn our attention to making the most of a Democratic trifecta with major democracy reform.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
