After four years of the disastrous and deadly Trump administration, a global pandemic, increased racial violence, and little relief for working families, I understand the desire to tune out emails like these.
But remember this: our progressive movement is stronger than ever. And grassroots support from working folks like you is the reason why.
Our movement fearlessly takes on the sticky issues, the ones that are dense and nuanced, in order to ensure equity and support for all.
Our movement takes a stand against the political establishment when they are not representing the people, even when it’s not politically popular or convenient.
Our movement started and continues to lead the fights for a $15 minimum wage, Medicare for All, and a Green New Deal. And with your support, we’ll win these fights.
Beyond our movement being stronger than ever, we know the legislation our movement is fighting for is popular. Over 60% of Americans support raising the minimum wage to $15/hr. And 70% of Americans support Medicare for All. Yet the establishment acts like we’re on the fringe.
