Last week, DC Health rolled out the new vaccination registration website. Repeated messages from the the Mayor and DC Health encourage District residents to sign up, especially if they are eligible. How can our neighbors all be expected to participate on a vaccination registration site that is only in English?
The website does not allow residents to register in any language other than English. It does not inform users that they can also register by phone at 1-855-363-0333 where they can use language line to register in the language that they speak. Outreach materials have also been overwhelmingly shared in English.

There are 90,000 DC residents who speak a language other than English. There are thousands more who are eligible as DC workers, particularly in restaurants and neighborhood groceries. Join DC Jobs With Justice, Many Languages One Voice, and others to demand a vaccination program accessible in all of DC's languages.
La semana pasada, DC Health puso en marcha el nuevo sitio web de registro de vacunas.
