Dear John,
The number of women in prison has grown by 700% over the last 30 years. Women imprisoned across the country are being denied access to feminine hygiene products, being shackled or put in solitary confinement during pregnancy, and are serving their sentences thousands of miles away from their children. It's unacceptable.
We’re working to change all of that, but we need your help. Click the link below to sign our petition urging our legislators to improve the confinement conditions for incarcerated women in state and federal facilities across the country.
Sign the Petition
Since 2017, Dream Corps JUSTICE’s Dignity for Incarcerated Women Campaign, led by formerly incarcerated women, has won improvements in living conditions for more than 30,000 women incarcerated in 12 states.
These wins are impactful, but there’s still much work to be done. Sign our petition to urge our elected officials to protect the fundamental rights and dignity of all women behind bars!
Take Action
With your help we can send a message to our state and federal representatives: no incarcerated woman should be neglected or deprived of fundamental rights and dignity.
Thanks for taking action, — The Dream Corps JUSTICE Team
