GOP governor Asa Hutchinson willingly attacked women's bodily autonomy in his state. Republicans are hoping to take this law all the way to the Supreme Court, John, and we know exactly where this could lead.
Before he left office, Donald Trump made sure to make good on his promise to pack the Supreme Court with anti-choice justices by installing Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. Each of these loyalists have already publicly attacked Roe v. Wade and made moves to restrict women's access to reproductive care.
Women nationwide are as close as they've ever been to losing their right to choose, John.
We need to fight back, right now. We're challenging the GOP's anti-woman agenda in states across the country and supporting women in our legislature who are leading the fight to protect reproductive rights -- we're ready to do whatever is necessary to ensure that women continue to be the ONLY ones making decisions over their own bodies.
But while the GOP is throwing everything they've got into overturning Roe v. Wade, we're falling short of the resources we need to fight back.
