It’s never easy asking for contributions. In fact, it’s my least favorite aspect of my job.

But with elections as expensive as they are -- 2020 blew previous spending records out of the water -- it’s a difficult but essential part of building a campaign.

That’s why our fundraising deadlines and goals are so important, and tonight is the mid-month deadline. If we reach our goal tonight, it’ll put us on a strong path toward reaching an even bigger goal at the end of the month: our first FEC goal of the year. If you can, please consider chipping in before the end of the day. [[link removed]]

Washington Republicans and Donald Trump’s super PAC are already raising huge sums of money to take back the House Majority.

We can’t afford to let them succeed -- especially now that we’ve seen what’s possible with Democrats in control of both chambers of Congress and President Biden in the White House:

1.
Biden
signed
the
American
Rescue
Plan,
sending
critical
COVID-19
relief
to
American
families
all
over
the
country,
putting
money
straight
in
their
pockets,
and
putting
us
on
a
path
toward
ending
the
pandemic
and
rebuilding
our
economy.
2.
3.
I
joined
my
colleagues
in
the
House
in
passing
a
plan
that
would
expand
voting
rights
,
combat
voter
suppression,
make
our
campaign
finance
system
more
transparent,
and
strengthen
our
election
security.
4.
5.
House
Democrats
also
passed
a
bill
that
would
require
universal
background
checks
on
all
gun
sales,
helping
prevent
gun
violence
and
making
our
communities
safer.
6.
7.
And
we
passed
a
measure
that
would
strengthen
workers’
collective
bargaining
rights
for
the
first
time
in
decades
and
protect
their
right
to
join
a
union
.

The past year has been hard on all of us. I know not everyone is able to make contributions to campaigns like ours right now, but if you are able to spare a few dollars, it would make a big difference and get us that much closer to our goal before tonight’s deadline [[link removed]]
