Wow, it’s been a busy few months since I joined the team!
We’ve stood up to violent extremists when they attacked our democracy, worked to achieve a stronger democracy by passing the For the People Act, introduced the Senior Security Act to protect our seniors, and delivered direct relief to our community through the American Rescue Plan —
and this is just the beginning.
But despite all these pivotal accomplishments, our financial numbers are still running behind where they need to be. With our first quarterly FEC deadline of the Biden administration coming up in days, we have to be ready to fend off attacks from extremist national Republicans and the NRCC.
