Described by Newsweek as the most influential rabbi in America, Rabbi David Saperstein, Director Emeritus at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism and former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom (2015-2017), joins American Jewish Committee (AJC) for the annual Murray Friedman Memorial Lecture. Rabbi Saperstein will discuss the challenges facing international religious freedom, the means to address religious persecution and discrimination worldwide, and the importance of interfaith dialogue.
The Murray Friedman Memorial Lecture honors the legacy of noted Jewish activist and scholar Murray Friedman (z”l), AJC Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey’s Regional Director for over 40 years.
