Here’s the reality: Ro went on TV to condemn Trump’s obvious pressuring of the Ukrainian President to investigate a political opponent. Since then, Republicans have gone into full-crisis mode — trying to follow a line that there was no obvious quid-pro-quo, so it’s fine.

That’s a whole lot of nonsense. According to a recent report, the Pentagon, State Department, and National Security Council all supported the aid to Ukraine, and Trump acted alone in demanding it be pulled. Then, a few weeks later he ends up on a call making a specific request to investigate Joe Biden?

Anyone, especially the Ukrainian President, can read between the lines there. Trump’s War Room is so deep in crisis control that they’re losing their common sense, and trying to attack Ro to protect this President’s illegal behavior.
