John, Democrats have passed a $1.9 TRILLION spending bill they claim is for COVID-19 relief, but less than 10% of the spending is related to COVID. The bill is really a Democrat wish list of liberal spending of borrowed money, which is why every Republican in the House and Senate opposed it. What's an example of a liberal provision in this bill? REPARATIONS. Under the bill, billions of dollars in federal loans for socially disadvantaged farmers will be forgiven up to 120 percent of the outstanding loan amount. You read that correctly – 20 percent MORE than is owed. There is no means test, so even a multi-millionaire farmer can have loans forgiven. This is simply based on race – not need. This provision is not available for farmers who are white. John, that's reparations – plain and simple. And what does that have to do with COVID? The provision is based on a bill by Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) called the "Emergency Relief for Farmers of Color Act." While some Democrats refuse to admit the truth about this provision, Chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), stated this is "an important piece of reparations." Will you join me in standing against reparations? Reparations divide our country. Opportunity brings us together.
