A 1% pay rise for nurses is nothing short of an insult.
The Conservatives wasted hundreds of millions on private firms that failed to
deliver usable protective equipment. But they refuse to give our NHS heroes a
pay rise.
NHS frontline staff have risked their lives over the last year and deserve
better. Liberal Democrats are campaigning for a decent pay rise for our NHS

Kirsty Williams delivers a new Welsh curriculum
Just one Welsh Liberal Democrat in government has made a huge difference.
Thanks to our Education Minister Kirsty Williams MS, the Senedd has just
passed a new, modern and ambitious curriculum for Welsh schools, which includes:
🧠 A whole-school approach to mental health
🍎 Trusting teachers, giving them freedom to be creative with lessons
️🌈 Inclusive relationship and sexuality education for all pupils
💬 A modern approach to modern languages
📚 Welsh history, citizenship & identity in all its diversity
🆘 Lifesaving skills and first aid
This couldn’t have happened without Kirsty in the Senedd, in Government,
fighting for pupils, teachers and communities.

Save the Human Rights Act
Human rights matter. For British soldiers, Hillsborough families and victims
of the Stafford hospital scandal, the Human Rights Act has been vital to
securing justice.
But hard-right politicians like Nigel Farage and the Conservatives are trying
to scrap the Human Rights Act. The Conservatives have repeatedly threatened to
repeal the Act - and now they’ve launched a “review” of it.
We’ve responded and we’re fighting to save the Human Rights Act. Take a look
