Last week was a big one for our country. After a full year of bearing the brunt of COVID-19, we finally passed the American Rescue Plan. This stimulus package will help small businesses get back on their feet, put $1,400 checks directly in the hands of people who need them, and cut child poverty in our country nearly in half.

This victory isn’t about me or my colleagues in the Senate — it’s a testament to the work of organizers over the past four years. It’s a direct result of our efforts to turn out the vote, elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and flip the Senate blue.

Look, the American Rescue Plan is just the beginning. We can continue to make historic progress on issues of racial, economic, and environmental justice — but only if we can protect our fragile Senate majority.

Republicans are already making plans to take back the Senate seats we won last year. That’s why I’m calling on you. Can you chip in $10 or more before tonight’s mid-month fundraising deadline to help us protect our majority and build on our victories in the years ahead?
