John,
We know that New American women and women of color are the future of our democracy. So as part of our Women's History Month celebrations, we're recognizing some of the trailblazing leaders who are shaking up politics as usual and changing the face of leadership at our Tea on Democracy discussion on Tuesday, March 16th!
Tomorrow at 7:00PM ET, we'll be joined by Durham, North Carolina County Commissioner Nida Allam; Georgia Western Circuit District Attorney Deborah Gonzalez; St. Louis Park, Minnesota City Councilor Nadia Mohamed; and Massachusetts State Representative Tram Nguyen; four women who are living up to Vice President Kamala Harris' promise to be the first, but not the last woman of color to serve at every level of our democracy.
From fighting against discriminatory legislation to building a bench of female-identifying future candidates, these fierce leaders will spill the tea on what it's like to run, win, and lead as a New American woman of color. Make sure you're there for this can't-miss Women's History Month discussion!
See you soon,
The NAL Team
