Train and Dart stations in Dublin and elsewhere in Ireland, owned by Ireland’s national public transport provider, CIÉ, are advertising the abortion March next weekend (30/09).

This is a gross use of publicly owned space which we must not accept.

Sign this petition to CIÉ demanding that these posters be removed immediately.

Dear John,

In gearing up for the “March for Choice” this Saturday (30/09), the pro-abortion lobby have placed posters advertising the March throughout publicly owned stations across Ireland.

Several people have reported that Train and Dart stations, including Clontarf in Dublin and Plunkett Station in Waterford, have large advertisements in them for the upcoming “March for Choice”.

Some supporters have set about contacting Córas Iompair Éireann Group, better known as CIÉ. CIÉ is a statutory body, owned by the Government of Ireland, and, therefore, ultimately, by the people of Ireland.

CIÉ have claimed that they are “are wholly impartial with respect to that campaign/copy.” This claim is false.

CIÉ are a public body, they are allowing their advertising space to be used by a campaign which intends to undermine the law in Ireland. There can be no neutrality in this debate. To allow public space for this advertising is to give tacit support to this campaign.

It is accountable to the Irish people, and they are allowing others to use their advertising space to promote a campaign directed at the destruction of future Irish citizens.

They are supporting a movement which believes that the law should permit a mother to kill her own son or daughter so long as he or she is in the womb.

Please sign this petition to CIÉ objecting to this use of public advertising space

One need only look at Britain to see the disastrous effects of their abortion law. There are almost 200,000 abortions every year, that’s one in five pregnancies ending in abortion and millions of women’s lives torn apart by abortion since 1967.

There are now 8 million “missing” men and women from Britain. In N. Ireland, the Advertising Standards Association affirmed that the abortion law there has saved over 100,00 lives.

Ireland must not make the same mistake as its neighbours. Ireland should be proud of the 8th Amendment which recognises the value of the life of mother and baby.

CIÉ should not allow the pro-abortion lobby to advertise for an event which intends to undermine the law and turn mothers against their own children.

Yours sincerely,

Greg Jackson and the entire Team at CitizenGO
