** SHARING OUR CHILD PROTECTION WORK ON THE GLOBAL STAGE
------------------------------------------------------------

United Nations' 65th Commission on the Status of Women
March 15-26

Since 1946, the UN Commission on the Status of Women ([link removed]) has gathered governments, civil society, and advocates to discuss the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls around the world. This year, the event will be held virtually and focus on the theme of women’s full and effective participation and decision-making in public life. Additional topics include reviewing the implementation of the 2016 theme: women’s empowerment and the link to sustainable development.

ECPAT-USA is honored to be leading a panel discussion and showcasing our fair trade, sustainable shop as part of the event this year. Join us at CSW 65:

Child traffickers often seek to lure children into their activities by exploiting real or perceived factors in their lives.
