Friend,
Every
ten years, following the completion of the U.S. Census, the boundaries
of California’s Congressional and State-level districts are redrawn to
accurately reflect the state’s population in a process known as
redistricting.
Redistricting -- when done in a fair,
non-partisan manner -- is an important undertaking, as it ensures
equal representation for all Californians. However, with demographic
changes come the possibility that districts will change, or even cease
to exist, as is likely to happen this year in Southern
California.
Following the 2020 Census, California is in danger
of losing one or more Congressional Representatives for the first time
in our state’s history, which could change the makeup of the entire
California delegation. And while there’s no way of knowing what
that’ll mean for 2022 just yet, we can take action now to
ensure that our campaign has the resources to connect with
Californians who may soon become prospective voters and
constituents.
Will
you donate $200, $100, or $50 today so that we can be prepared for
whatever redistricting throws our
way?
Best, Ted
