For The Eastern Tropical Pacific: Operation Treasured Islands

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, the world's most passionate and powerful protector of ocean life, announced today that it is launching Operation Treasured Islands late this fall. The announcement was made by Sea Shepherd's Founder, Captain Paul Watson, aboard the M/V Brigitte Bardot. The campaign will focus on Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) fishing in the Tropical Eastern Pacific, a two million square kilometer area extending along the Pacific coast of the Americas from Mexico to Peru. Watch the announcement here, and please visit seashepherd.org/treasured-islands for more details.
